About Us
We are a family of five traveling as much as we can and visiting as much of this great county as possible. We plan to have review videos of equipment we use, campgrounds we visit. We also plan to chronicle our adventures as we explore the sights and sounds of the places we visit and include some how to videos as well.
We are from western Pennsylvania and travel as much as our schedules allow. Austin is a small business owner and his wife Sammie is a preschool teacher. We have 3 amazing children our oldest is Ella, followed by Caroline and last but not least Jeremiah.
Austin and Sammie met through a mutual friend while in College at Youngstown State University in 2006. Two months after they met Austin left for the U.S. Navy(He had enlisted prior to meeting her!). After Sammie graduated in the Spring of 2007 she packed up her life and moved to Biloxi Mississippi to be closer to Austin while he was stationed there. In 2008 Austin had completed his contract and they decided to move closer to family and to prepare for their impending nuptials. On July 4th 2009 they tied the knot. In 2011 their family grew with the addition of Ella. In 2015 Caroline born and Jeremiah came along in 2018. They began camping in 2013 by renting camping cabins due to the age of Ella. As time went on they would try to go camping at least once a year mostly in cabins and occasionally in a tent until the Spring of 2020 when they purchased a used camper (Winona) and really dove headfirst into camping.
Our First full season of camping we spent 22 nights in the camper and logged over 3000 miles. We have our plans for 2021 set and look forward to sharing our experiences with you they may be good or they may be bad but either way we will share it with you and hope you enjoy our time together and Make Way USA.
